Redesigning a filtering experience for Prolific
Prolific is an online platform where researchers around the world find and recruit participants that provide high-quality data in exchange for fair payment for their time. On the other side, participants can contribute to science by answering surveys while earning a fair payment for their time. Last year we revisited the filtering experience so we could provide a better user experience for researchers.
Providing a solution for teachers in analogue classrooms
The use of technology in the classroom has positively impacted education. The inclusion of convertible laptops, interactive and whiteboards have unlocked new ways and opportunities to learn. However, it is clear that technology is not present equally in classrooms around the world and still needs to be supplemented by analogue materials.
Distributing EF Class across all Apple platforms with Mac catalyst
Over the years Apple has released devices with different screen resolutions across the iOS platform – both iPhone and iPad. With the arrival of Mac Catalyst in 2019, a lot came to the table for the entire product. We now had the possibility of sharing the same source code across platforms to efficiently convert the iPad app to desktop-class features.
Creating a design system for EF Class
EF Class’ design system was born out of a necessity across the entire team. Throughout years, developers worked on throw away code that wasn’t reused across the app. The same happened with designs - there wasn’t a common source of truth for both teams.
