The fox story

I love animals, I always did. Don’t get me wrong - I am also afraid of them! Although I grew up in a place surrounded by nature, I also became a city person in my adult life and these days I get a bit freaked by big dogs, seagulls (definitely watch out for those when in Brighton), bees (definitely my most embarrassing fear ever, without any reason - i know their importance and support the bees conservation, but I guess I was bitten too many times while growing up), and a few others that I won’t list so I don’t embarrass myself anymore. However, since I moved to London I got more accustomed to 2 animals that live in this awesome city: squirrels and foxes.

Now, squirrels are awesome animals and I love to see them in the park jumping and climbing trees with their lovely tails, but foxes… they are a completely different type of amazing animal. Firstly, I had never seen a fox in front of me until I came into London. I never forgot that first moment. It was late and me and my boyfriend were leaving the train in Battersea park station, and there it was. Sat on the platform in front of mine there was this gorgeous fox looking at us, almost as if she was waiting for a train itself. Its fur was soft and shiny and that picture will never be forgotten.

Over the years I got (and was offered) quite a few fox themed presents. From accessories, jewellery, pillow cases, mugs and socks I managed to collect a few items that now I considered to have some kind of emotional attachment and identify myself with. This generated the idea of having a fox related logo, and this was the result.
