Don McCullin exhibition at the Tate Britain

Today i went to the Tate Britain to see Don McCullin’s photography exhibition and I was extremely impressed with his human approach to photography. Particularly how he carefully works the frame and composition to convey the stories of the people that are being photographed.

At the same time I can’t stop from feeling for him - for having to witness so much suffering and not being able to do what he would have wished for - to stop it. I learned about his work, his struggles as a photojournalist and as a human.

I advise anyone with any interest in photography, social equality and peace to go to the exhibition. Also - all the work was printed by Don McCullin himself and is presented superbly well.
